The former Toronto Raptors center Lucas Nogueira offered a sneak peek into his former team’s scouting reports from 2018 on a number of players, including LeBron James. The four-time NBA champ is one of the most prolific players to have blessed the NBA. Lucas took to Instagram and shared the scouting reports on LeBron James, John Wall, and Bradley Beal from 2018. Back in 2018, LeBron played his final season with the Cleveland Cavaliers, led them to four consecutive finals, and helped them win their first NBA title in 2016.
In the recently leaked report from the Raptors’ front office, James was described as an excellent player in several aspects, along with his weak points in several parts of the court. The report suggested that the 18-time All-Star was good at screening on offense and shooting on the drive. He was also considered elite in terms of finishing near the rim. At the same time, the scouting report highlighted LeBron James’ weak points as well. The Raptors’ scouts remarked James as below average in the defense department with pick-and-roll situations and defending the ball-handler.
LeBron is undoubtedly the most talented player in the league. He has led many NBA teams on his shoulders through the course of his career. Moreover, LeBron has certainly improved his defensive game. He was forced to play as the center last season after Anthony Davis was sidelined due to an injury, leaving the Lakers in a big mess.
James Dominated The Raptors In 2018 Playoffs
Meanwhile, the Raptors’ scouting strategy turned out to be a bid failure against the Lakers, who swept Toronto in four games to move ahead in the playoffs. Moreover, Nogueira acted as the center for the Raptors from 2014-18. Boston Celtics picked the Brazilian as the 16th overall pick in 2013. The Cs eventually traded him to Toronto. The 29-year-old is not a part of the NBA anymore and plays for the Sao Paulo FC basketball division.
