The Los Angeles Lakers built an exciting environment while playing their last game against the Utah Jazz team on Sunday. It was truly incredible to see the fans who lost faith in their team restore it back with such passion and joy. With a 128-117 win over the Jazz, the Lakers grabbed onto the seventh position in the Western Conference table. And the 2020 champions will now play against the Minnesota Timberwolves, the ex-team of D’Angelo Russell and the eighth position holder.

The journey from getting booed to getting full anticipation of fans in joy has been a significant upward-moving journey. And the team, which even struggled to reach the top 10 in their conference, now sits in seventh position. Although it is a joy to watch, and players are more excited than ever, it is a great opportunity for them. And looking at the circumstances, there is nothing certain. But LeBron James is thankful for the opportunity. After already missing the playoffs once, James did not want to make this a habit. Therefore he has another reason to work even harder than ever to prove his worth in the NBA.

D’Angelo Russell Has High Emotions For Tuesday’s Game

The new addition to the team that made the Lakers much more than they were prior to the trade deadline came from the Wolves. And that includes D’Angelo Russell, who has been a key player in the shift in paradigm inside the team. After winning the game against the Jazz, he talked about getting revenge on his former team. However, he also added that he does not want to do it because they traded but rather because he stands in the way of his current team. This shows how important and highly emotional the clash on Tuesday is going to be.

It is going to be an end-to-end action where both teams will be ready to step on each other to proceed in the playoffs. But the Lakers will have an unsaid advantage of LeBron James’ so-called ‘playoff version.’ But even he accepted that they would have to be cautious Wolves are a tumultuous team, and they can do anything.

The Trouble Has Just Begun For The Lakers

The Lakers have been incredible, but there is a question in the air about whether they can go all the way from here on. There is a possibility that if they manage to win the home against the Wolves, they will then face Memphis.

Meanwhile, Austin Reaves believes in his team bigtime and claims that “if we’re whole and healthy, we like our opportunity.” It is not a bad side if one is rooting for the Lakers, as they have proven themselves this year. And if health factors also incline towards them, LeBron can be seen with the fifth ring.
