Barcelona Targetting Arsenal\’s Right-Back Hector Bellerin! The Gunners Add Youri Tielsmans To Three-Man Shortlist

Arsenal has been quite active during the summer transfer window. The Gunners have made some crucial changes in their lineup on both sides of the field, adding quality players like Gabriel Jesus, Fabio Vieira, Marquinhos, and Oleksandr Zinchenko. The north London club has seen a complete turnaround from last season as they have won the first three games and scored nine goals in total. However, the trade deadline would still be active, and Arsenal does not seem to be done with their transfer targets.

Barcelona Eyeing Arsenal\’s Hector Bellerin

Recent reports have suggested that Barcelona is keen on getting Arsenal\’s right back Hector Bellerin to the club. The Spaniard is being considered the prime target for Barcelona to replace Sergino Dest at the right-back. The 21-year-old has reportedly fallen out of favor with the club\’s manager Xavi and is likely to depart the Nou Camp soon.

Hector played for the club\’s La Misa Academy from 20020-11 before moving to Arsenal. However, earlier in the transfer window, it was reported that Bellerin was pushing to get his £110,000 per week contract with the Gunners after falling out of favor with Arteta. The 27-year-old has expressed his desire to return to Spain after Arteta chose to play Takehiro Tomiyasu, Cedric Soares, and Ben White at right-back over him.

It is believed that Barcelona has offered a net salary of £5m under a free transfer deal. However, the Catalan club has asked the Arsenal defender to wait until the end of the window. Thus, it is becoming more likely that Hector will join the La Liga club before the deadline. Barcelona has been actively discussing Bellerin\’s transfer prospect with Arsenal. He would be a cheaper alternative than their other reported targets, including Juan Foyth and Thomas Meunier.

Arsenal Add Leicester Midfielder To Their Three-Man Midfield Shortlist

Tielemans

Mikel Arteta has suggested that the club would try to complete more transfer activities during the final two weeks. They have recently added Leicester\’s midfielder, Youri Tielemans, to a three-man midfield shortlist ahead of the September 1 deadline. In addition to Tielemans, Brighton\’s Moises Caicedo and AC Milan\’s Sandro Tonali are also on the list of targets. The players mentioned above meet the profile that Arteta and Edu are looking for. Hence, the two Arsenal giants will look to close the deal on these players during the transfer window. The Gunners are also trying hard to drop off a few players too.
