Fabio Vieira has made a move from FC Porto to Arsenal FC on a long-term contract. The attacking midfielder is one of the most impressive young football players in Portugal. And it looks like the 22-year-old is all set to play at the Emirates Stadium next season. The youngster made 54 appearances for Porto and learned the ropes at the Portuguese club’s youth academy. Fabio made his debut for the club in June 2020 and was also a part of the Primeira Liga winning team during the 2019-20 and 2021-22 seasons.
Vieira is also a member of Portugal’s Under 21 squad and has scored 13 goals in 21 appearances so far at the international level. The youngster also played for his country at the youth level. He has been a part of all five tournament matches and his side finished as runners-up during the 2019 UEFA Under-19 Championship.
Not just this, the Portuguese national played 27 games in the Primeira League-winning last season. The 22-year-old scored six crucial goals and made 14 assists during his campaign.
