Yankees

As the New York Yankees enter the offseason, they have signed some huge deals to retain players and bring some to the team. One big name who came with a huge deal of nine years is Aaron Judge. The Yankees were very eager to sign the future MVP to wear their jersey. However, the deal landed after many negotiations as Judge first refused a six-year agreement but later settled for nine years. After signing the outfielder, the Yankees shifted their focus to other problems.

The Yankees gave the top priority to signing more hitters before they approached the trade deadline. If the Yankees fail the task of bringing in more outfielders, they will have to rely on the likes of Oswald Peraza and Oswaldo Cabrera. Last season the team’s lineup was incredibly shaky and filled with right-hand-dominated players. If no further improvements are made, this year’s playoffs could also take the hit. The Yankees have made some great changes until now, but they still lack in some areas, which could also cut them short this year.

The Yankees Lack Left Field Players

Ever since Andrew Benintendi signed a five-year deal with Chicago White Sox, they have been missing left-field players. If the Yankees dont make any change to their rotation, they will have to depend on Oswaldo Cabrera. His past seasons have made him an unreliable hitter, which can weaken their Word Series hopes. And to solve the problem, the team will have to look into another team to fill the loophole.

The Bombers Will Need To Reinforce Their Roster

The Yankees roster now has some reliable players, but they still need more before the season begins. Even after signing Tommy Kahnle, the club needs further improvement in the team to outshine this season. This year the Yanks lost many of their arms from the bullpen. Some of the names are Aroldis Chapman, Chad Green, and Zach Britton. While they can be brought back, the club has different ideas for filling the positions.

The Infield Needs To Be Sorted

The Yankees have one too many players to fill in the infield position. If there is no solution to the problems, it will lead to reduced time for each player. This might cause a ruckus in the locker room. So if the club wants to make this season their best, they will have to clear the clutter.
