Fox Sports analyst, Skip Bayless, has once again come out with all guns blazing against the Lakers superstar, LeBron James.
LeBron James once again shut down the critics with his impressive back-to-back 40-points games. The legend decided to celebrate his birthday in style by scoring 47 points against the Hawks on Saturday. He further carried forward his form into the following game against the Hornets last night, wherein he scored 43 points. With this, the 38-year-old’s average this season has touched 45 points.
On top of that, James had additional responsibility on his shoulders after his teammate, Anthony Davis, is ruled out of the Lakers’ squad owing to a foot injury. Davis is very much likely to miss the majority of the season, which might prove costly for the Los Angeles Lakers, who are already struggling.
However, for Skip Bayless, LeBron James can never be good enough. The Fox Sports panelist once again hits out at the Lakers’ star by bringing up his past final records. He also went on to compare James with Michael Jordan and stated that he could never attain his greatness.

However, this year, the Los Angeles Lakers are struggling just like last year. The race to the playoffs is getting tougher with each passing day. But, after a crushing defeat against the Heat, the Lakers picked themselves up pretty quickly and registered two consecutive wins.
LeBron’s performance was vital in both games. He scored 40+ points in both matchups. However, some people just cannot attain satisfaction. Despite an impressive performance, James found a critic in Skip Bayless. The analyst yet again criticized the 38-year-old for not being good enough for the Lakers. He said that LeBron James is not a GOAT as a GOAT does not lose six finals. He further demeaned James by comparing him to Michael Jordan.

This is not the first time Bayless has launched such an attack on James. He is known for always bringing down LeBron by comparing him with Michael Jordan. Skip said that if LeBron is that great at the age of 38, then why are the Lakers lagging behind in the western conference points table? He further went on to say that LeBron James whining about not winning after the Miami loss is not what legendary athletes do.
Yes, LeBron James has not stepped up at the big stages in his career. But that does not overshadow his numbers over the past 20 years. Since his debut at the age of 18, James has performed consistently in all seasons to date. Even at the age of 38, he has the same potential he had in his youth days. And he is winning games for the team as well. LeBron will forever remain one of the greatest that the game of Basketball has ever produced.
