After the conclusion of the Major League Baseball season 2022, it is the Awards season in the baseball fraternity. Wednesday, November 9, was the day of the first big award ceremony. Yesterday, Yankees slugger Aaron Judge received the 2022 Hank Aaron Award. Meanwhile, this is not it for the 30-year-old slugger, as his set to become the Silver Slugger of the 2022 season. This will be the third time in a row when Judge has received this accolade.

The Hank Aaron Award for the American League has been given to Aaron Judge in recognition of his remarkable season with the New York Yankees. The accolade honors the offensive player in each league who has displayed the greatest excellence. Aaron Judge was a no-brainer for the honor.

His offensive season was the best in the league, bar none. With the fifth-highest batting average at the end of the season, he narrowly missed winning the Triple Crown Award despite being the league leader in home runs and RBIs. Judge slugged 62 home runs, an AL record. His 133 runs, 131 RBI, and 1.111 OPS all set new MLB records for him. His hitting average of .311 placed him second in the AL.

Paul Goldschmidt of the St. Louis Cardinals, who plays first base, also earned this year\’s Hank Aaron Award for the National League in addition to Aaron Judge. With a batting average of.317, Goldschmidt also accumulated 115 RBI and 35 home runs. His.981 OPS ranked first in the National League.

Meanwhile, ever since Aaron Judge won the award, the Yankees fans have been going crazy over the internet praising their team\’s best player. This season, Aaron gave it his all in New York, frequently serving as the team\’s lone offensive contributor. Fans of the New York Yankees are anxious for the organization to sign Judge again. If they see him wearing another team\’s uniform the next season, they will be saddened. Judge has been the lifeline for the Yankees throughout the 2022 season. The Yankees would suffer greatly if they lost Aaron Judge. The squad labored at the plate for lengthy periods of time. Losing their top offensive performer wouldn\’t make the situation any better.

On Thursday, which is also the first day of the free agency market, Judge will be crowned a Silver Slugger winner for the third time.
