Now, it seems like all that hype is leading up to something substantial. As per the recent reports, the Yankees official is preparing for Rodon.

The New York Yankees have focused exclusively on starting pitcher Carlos Rodon since Aaron Judge is committed to the team for nine more years. A top left-handed pitcher in Major League Baseball, Rodon. Additionally, he is one of the few well-known free agents on the market. There is a lack of talent on the market due to several high-profile acquisitions during the previous several weeks. The Mets and Justin Verlander agreed to a sizable two-year agreement.
