New York Yankees are off to a strong start in the 2023 MLB season, with an impressive record of 10-6 and a unique accomplishment to their name.

The New York Yankees, popularly known as the Bronx Bombers, is one of the most successful franchises in the history of the sport. They have as many as 27 World Series titles and 20 AL-East Division titles to their name in a span of over a century. However, in recent years, it has seen a steep downfall. Since 2009, the Bombers have been unable to win a championship title.

Not that the team is performing poorly. As a matter of fact, the Yankees have made a deep postseason run in the last five consecutive seasons. However, the team has failed to edge past rivals Houston Astros in the ALCS on multiple occasions. Nonetheless, the New York-based team is now determined to break the jinx and has taken the first step in the right direction.

They leveled the series 2-2 and unlocked the unique accomplishment of the season. The New York Yankees are now officially the only team who hasn’t conceded a series defeat in the 2023 MLB season.

Meanwhile, the fans are over the moon and congratulated the team on the same. What makes the feat more remarkable is that the Yankees have dealt with a fair share of challenges this season. The team has been hit hard by injuries, with key players such as Carlos Rodon, Luis Severino, and Frankie Montas all missing significant time due to various ailments. Despite these setbacks, the Yankees have managed to persevere and find ways to win. The team’s depth has been a key factor in their success, with players such as Francy Cordero, Oswaldo Cabrera, and Domingo German all stepping up and contributing when called upon.
