After failing to establish an impact in the ongoing NBA season, rumors are rift that Westbrook would be on his way out as the purple and gold are looking to trade him. However, these rumors are just mere conjectures for now. Moreover, LeBron James’ personal connection with Westbrook has the Lakers’ hands tied. Meanwhile, Russell Westbrook stirred another controversy owing to an off-field altercation. Westbrook, on his way to a restaurant, saw a few fans waiting for him. Amongst the fans, a little kid with a Lakers jersey walked up to Westbrook for an autograph. However, Russell coldly ignored the child and walked right past him into the restaurant. Evidently, the kid repeatedly shouted for a reaction, but the point guard looked unfazed and ignored the child.

A Twitter user commented saying he lost all the respect of Westbrook after seeing him treat a child in a cold manner. However, a certain section of fans also supported Russell, saying there is a place and time for everything and the point guard should not be bothered during his personal time.
