Aaron Judge, the New York Yankees heart, is widely regarded as the home run king of MLB. He earned that accolade when he smashed an all-time high homer record in 2022. Judge slammed 62 long hits in 2022 to become the only slugger with the most home runs in a singular MLB season.

However, in 2023, the tables turned. Aaron Judge was on the same trajectory as the 2022 season until a gruesome injury cut short his season. After his toe ligament was ruptured, the Yankees captain ended up missing eight weeks, which affected his home run count for the season. Nonetheless, ahead of the new season, Judge has been touted to recreate an extraordinary feat with his splashing home run-hitting ability.

New York Yankees’ newest recruit, Marcus Stroman, couldn’t believe his luck when Brian Cashman and Aaron Judge dialed him this off-season to let him know that they wanted him on the roster. “When Aaron Judge calls you and wants you to play for the Yankees, it gives you chills,” said Stroman.

Marcus Stroman signed a two-year $37 million deal with the New York Yankees earlier this year. He will be a regular starter for the upcoming season. Moreover, given the pitches 120+ innings in the next two seasons, Stroman can use a third-year club option to extend his stay in the Bronx.
