He is no doubt excited to break the record that Wilt Chamberlain held for so long.

When he was asked about what it means to him, Curry replied jokingly, “this means I’m getting old.” Steph proceeded to say, “this is very special because anybody who gets to break a Chamberlain record feels surreal. It is more special to me as it has been a long time, almost fourteen years playing for the Warriors. All the shots I’ve put up for the team finally count. So this is definitely a reason to celebrate.”

Impact Of Steph Curry On The Warriors Team

Steph Curry scored a much-needed 38 points to help his team maintain their winning streak against OKC Thunder with a hattrick of victories. Everything ended in celebration for the Warriors. The team is able to maintain their consistency as they are staying at .500. In the second half of the current ongoing season, the Dub Nation has got back their rhythm as they have won three games on the trot. Currently, their win-loss ratio stands at 26-24, with a favorable position for the Warriors.

Brief Summary Of The Current Season For The Dub Nation

Despite getting back their momentum, the Warriors are not close yet to the title contention. The fans expected them to dominate as they were the defending champions, but the Dub Nation had an abysmal start. Adding insult to the poor performance at the beginning of the season, their star player, Steph Curry, got severely injured in December last year. This caused more trouble for the team. After the star returned, the Golden State Warriors definitely look like they are on a roll.

But now, only time will tell how far they can go from here. It is a good thing the Warriors are performing well now, as the All-Star break is around the corner. Against the Thunder, other than the 38 points he scored, Curry also contributed with 8 rebounds and an incredible twelve assists. Klay Thompson, Jordan Poole

, and Andrew Wiggins also contributed reasonably well. After Steph Curry returned to the team in nine games, the Warriors have won five and lost four. If the Warriors are able to hold on to it, they can indeed turn the table upside down.
