Leati Joseph “Joe” Anoa’i, popularly known by his ring name Roman Reigns, is a popular American professional wrestler who is signed under WWE. Even though Roman is among the most popular WWE superstars, there is not many people know about his personal life and wife. Early Life!

Whom we know as Roman Reigns was born as Leati Joseph Anoa in Pensacola, Florida, on May 25, 1985. Patricia A. Anoa’i and Sika Anoai are his parents. Pro-wrestling was in Roman’s blood as his father, Sika Anoai, was a professional Samoan wrestler. Growing up, Roman Reigns was surrounded by wrestlers. Thus, sports played a significant role in his life, but he had a particular passion for football that set him apart from the rest of his family.

In addition to attending Escambia High School, Roman Reigns also attended Pensacola Catholic High School. In both of his schools, he played football for the school team. During school days, Pensacola News Journal named him Defensive Player of the Year. For his higher studies, Roman Reighn joined the Georgia Institute of Technology. There, he became a member of his college team Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets Football Team. Meanwhile, Minnesota Vikings signed Reign in 2007, while he also played in the Canadian Football League for Edmonton Eskimos. 

Wrestling Career!

After giving a few years to football, Leati Joseph turned back to his family profession. Roman Reigns joined WWE’s Developmental Territory Florida Championship Wrestling in the year 2010. After a little hustle, Roman formed a tag team with Donny Marlow in 2011. Meanwhile, while competing for FCW Florida Heavyweight Championship, he entered a triple threat match and defeated his future teammates, Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose. 

Meanwhile, Roman Reigns made his WWE main roster in November 2012 as a member of the iconic trio Shield. The team together won several matches, defeating multiple WWE superstars. After almost 20 months together, the Sheild broke up in 2014, and Roman went on his path as an individual superstar. Roman Reigns became the WWE World Heavyweight Champion at the Survivor Series in November 2015. 

Once again, Roman won the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 32 by defeating Triple H. After defeating Rusev, Reigns won his first “United States Championship” in August 2016. Later, he began a brief rivalry with John Cena after suffering a string of defeats. The Shield briefly reunited in October 2017 as a result of their shared problems with The Miz. Then he won the Intercontinental Championship by defeating The Miz.

Further, in October 2018, Roman Reigns took a break from WWE as he was battling leukemia. But the champ returned to the ring in February 2019 and was again at the top of his abilities. Currently, Roman is in a rivalry with Brock Lesnar for World Heavyweight Championship. In addition to his wrestling endeavors, Roman Reigns has also appeared in films and Tv shows, including ‘Countdown and Good Morning America and ‘Conan.

Roman Reigns Wife!

Unlike most WWE stars, Roman Reigns does not have an illustrious love life. He is, in fact, quite a family man. During his days at the Georgia Institute of Technology, Roman met Galina Becker. Jacksonville native Becker was pursuing her degree in management from the Tech school. 

After knowing each other for a while, Galina and Reigns started dating each other. After finishing her college years, Galina Becker followed a profession in modeling. She achieved success as a wellness model and has been a part of several lifestyle shoots. Meanwhile, after several years of dating, the couple was blessed with a baby girl in December 2008. 

When their daughter was six years old, the couple decided to tie the wedding knot. His daughter Joelle Anoa’i was the flower girl at their wedding. Moreover, in 2016 Gelina Becker gave birth to twins. And again, in 2020, the Tribal chief and his wife became parents for the third time in the year 2020.
