Roger Federer

Roger Federer has been out of the tennis court for more than nine months. The Swiss maestro played his last tournament at Wimbledon in July 2021, where he had to face a defeat against Hubert Hurkacz in the quarterfinals. The 20-time Grand Slam champ was ruled out due to a knee injury and has been out ever since. The tennis world has been missing the Big Three\’s dominance on the court this season. Federer has certainly been the initiator, and his attacking game always makes it worth watching him play.

Fans have been eagerly waiting for the 40-year-old to come back and resume his tennis journey during the final few years of his career. Roger has had a long history of knee troubles throughout his career. The right knee injury that he suffered last year has kept him out for a long while now. Moreover, Federer had to undergo three surgeries to fix the damage to his right knee.

Roger is hopeful about his comeback and is in the rehabilitation stage of his injury. He plans to return to the tennis world soon and hopes to participate in the Laver Cup in September. Hopefully, Federer will be able to make a dream come back and win his 21st Grand Slam title. Recently, the Swiss giant was spotted spending some time in Venice while tennis enthusiasts prayed for his timely return.
