Recently on Awful Running Podcast, John Ireland, the voice of Lakers Radio, mentioned, “Andy Thompson, who made ‘The Last Dance,’ has been recording LeBron James and the team’s footage.” Hence, if the Lakers win the 18th championship this season, then it would be a nice story to tell the world. On top of that, Andy has been working on making a film to capture the end run of LeBron James as he did for Michael Jordan.
Why A Documentary Like “The Last Dance” A Great Idea For James?
The Last Dance was released in 2020 during the pandemic, and it helped a lot of people to boost their morale, including LeBron James. So clearly, any docuseries or documentary film like that based on James will be an instant hit, more so if the Lakers win it all this season. Currently, they are only eight game wins away from lifting their 18th championship. James is on the go to win his fifth championship, one less than Michael Jordan. So, the documentary would be inspiring because, initially, the Lakers had a terrible start to the current season, losing ten out of the first twelve games. From that situation, a 38-year-old legend inspired his team to get up and win the championship. That is a great story.
