Lewis Hamilton Highly Motivated By Bucks’ Ace Giannis Antetokounmpo’s Solid Clap Back On Media Questioning Over Failure

Milwaukee Bucks, led by Giannis Antetokounmpo, marked their first-round exit from the NBA playoffs this season after losing Game 5 by a whisker. The Bucks dominated the entire season by staying at the top of the charts in the Eastern Conference table. However, in the first round of playoffs, Miami Heat unexpectedly proved to be a better team, all thanks to Jimmy Butler’s dominating 42-point game.

While Bucks lead star Giannis Antetokounmpo did try his best by adding up 38 points to the tally, it just wasn’t good enough against the underdogs, Miami Heat. Naturally, the loss messed with Gianni’s head as he lost his cool in the post-match presser. The forward gave a strong reply to a reporter to term the Bucks’ season as a failure. On the other hand, Formula One ace Lewis Hamilton loved every word that came out of Gianni’s mouth.

After the devastating Game 6 loss against the Miami Heat, Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo faced grilling questions from the media. A reporter, in particular, pressed the wrong nerve as he asked the forward if he saw this first-round playoff exit as a failure. Giannis snapped and lost his cool as the reporter allegedly brought up the same question in the previous season as well. The Bucks’ star said the sport is a field wherein you either win, or you learn. There is no failure. Giannis even cited the example of legendary basketball player Michael Jordan.

Giannis Antetokounmpo exclaimed that Michael Jordan played basketball for 15 years and won 6 championships in total. But that certainly does not make the rest of the nine seasons a complete failure. Towards the end, Giannis calmed down and said he did not want to snap like this, but since he asked the same question again this season, he had to put his point forward. Meanwhile, the video of the forward’s unfiltered response reached F1 ace, Lewis Hamilton, sitting miles apart in Baku, preparing for the upcoming race weekend. Going through a slump himself, Hamilton approved every word of Gianni’s response and gave him a thumbs up.

While Lewis Hamilton loved Antetokounmpo’s interview after losing the first-round playoffs to the Miami Heat, some analysts opined a different perspective. Former NBA All-Star Gilbert Arenas slammed Giannis Antetokounmpo in his show called “Gil’s Arena.” While he did appreciate the forward’s efforts, Arenas slammed him for bringing up legend Michael Jordan’s name to explain his point.

Gilbert said that he would have bought Giannis’ argument had he been a lawyer. But that fact is that the team lost the playoff series despite being the top-ranked team in the East table. Hence, there has to be some accountability for it. Overall, the Bucks’ forward’s angry response has gone viral on social media, and the internet stays divided on Giannis’ remarks. While some lauded the forward’s audacity, a few criticized him for showing a lack of accountability.
