LeBron James

LeBron James is one of the most dominating players in the NBA. The presence of a four-time NBA champ on any team ensures fair chances of winning the title. Evidently, the King continued to be magnificent during his 19th season at the Los Angeles Lakers.

Unfortunately, the franchise stumbled during the 2021-22 season and could not even make it to the playoffs. But, James is 37-year-old now, and his age has given way to the retirement discussions. With the physical state and match awareness that the 18-time All-Star possesses, there is no doubt that LeBron James can continue on for at least three to four seasons more.

Is LeBron James Moving To Golden State?

Earlier, James opened up about hanging his boots and said that he would like to play alongside his son Bronny before retiring from the league. The Lakers superstar also expressed his desire to play with Stephen Curry as he admired the Golden State point guard. Recently, LeBron James was once again seen talking about his future plans in the new trailer of The Shop\’s upcoming episode. However, James has no immediate plans to leave the Lakers anytime soon. He will play the upcoming season with the franchise, and his contract will end at the end of 2023.

The team has not discussed the possibility of a contract extension. However, LA front office would be initiating the extension talks this offseason. Thus, everything will depend on LeBron\’s decision or staying with the Lakers or moving on for his final few seasons in the league. But, James\’ decision will be highly influenced by how the franchise performs this season. If the Lakers manage to get to the championship next season or clinch, LeBron James might stay longer in LA.

Meanwhile, James\’ son Bronny would be eligible for the NBA in 2024. Thus, if the Golden State gets Bronny and Curry stays at the franchise by then, the Lakers legend might consider moving to the Warriors. They have made it to the NBA finals this season and have a strong team capable of winning regularly. So, it could help James get to a couple more championship rings before LeBron James retires from NBA. LeBron has won championships with the Miami Heat, Cleveland Cavaliers, and Lakers. This suggests that his presence could play a major factor in winning and continues to take the burden of every team he has ever played for in his career.
