LeBron James

The Los Angeles Lakers are home to LeBron James, one of the greatest players ever to play in the NBA. But as James continues to play his 20th season, he is also one of the oldest in the league. And his age has not impacted his GOAT status because of how careful and aware the legend is about his body. In a cut-throat league where age could be a major factor as it declines the players’ physical ability, LeBron continues his spectaculars. Even at 38, King James continues to average 29 points, 8.4 rebounds, and 6.8 assists in his appearance in 32 games.

Meanwhile, various sources suggest that the Lakers forward LeBron James could become the oldest player in the league. At the moment, the four-time champ is one of the third oldest players in the league, behind Udonis Haslem and Andre Iguodala. But the reports suggest both Udonis and Andre are ready to retire from top-level NBA basketball after this season ends. Following their retirement, LeBron, who is still on top of his game, could become the oldest active player in the league. However, Carmelo Anthony is still in the picture, who is five months older than the Akron Hammer.

The 38-year-old Lakers superstar has a dream to fulfill, which fuels his longevity on the court. LeBron James wants to share the wooden court with his elder son Bronny James in the NBA. But according to NBA norms, it is impossible for two more years. This remains the number one reason for him to continue playing. And for his outrageous high points performance, his winning mentality takes over him. There are many shreds of evidence available where the L-Train is seen saying he does not just play for the sake of playing. However, his current led him to miss last year’s playoff, and he is on the verge of missing one this year. But the former Cavs player is bound with LA because of his two-year contract.

NBA Twitter Celebrates LeBron James

The Lakers legend is on a roll as he continues to close on the legendary Kareem Abdul Jabbar. Before LeBron James crossed the 38000 points mark, Kareem was the only player in the 38000 leagues. However, the Akron Hammer is out to thrash his All time-scoring record to top the table. King accomplished the feat on Sunday in the game against the Philadelphia 76ers. LeBron did it in the first quarter of the game with a Jump shot. However, the Lakers lost the game with one point on the night.

Even at the age of 38, the King is at the peak of his powers, playing his 20th season. Against the 76ers, LeBron James scored a decent 35 points in 35 minutes of playtime. Aside from breaking records and continuing to impress fans with talismanic performances, James wishes to compete for the title. His retirement would be terrific if he could farewell with a trophy while his last bit of basketball.
