Anthony Davis is getting into the habit of scaring the fans throughout the season with new injury concerns. He had already missed several games in the regular season due to stress issues. However, the Los Angeles Lakers are currently fighting their way through the playoff stage. If AD sustains any more injuries leading him to miss a few more matches can be fatal for the Lakers. The LA side made an impossible task to reach the playoffs possible.
Nobody could imagine the Lakers would make the postseason after the way the season started for them. The LA side lost ten games out of the first twelve. But from that poor start, the Lakers managed to see themselves through to the playoffs. A lot of credit goes to Anthony Davis for turning things around. Hence, the Lakers will need AD to stay fit. Anyways the Purple and the gold army are doing well in the playoffs. They are now enjoying a lead over the Grizzlies, as the series is 2-1 in favor of the Lakers.
Anthony Davis Had Another Injury Scare Mid Game
In the third game of the series, Anthony Davis injures himself again in the third quarter. AD lost his balance and tripped over to the cameraman on the first row of the sidelines. It took a lot of time for him to get up again. Meantime the fans were getting scared for the eight-time NBA All-Star. Finally, he got up, and it calmed the fans down. But it was visible that AD hurt his lips. The Lakers always have a huge fan base in Hollywood.

Actor-Comedian Will Ferrell was near the sideline where AD hurt his lips. There was blood all over his lips. But even with a fat lip, he stuck around. The Lakers will hope Anthony Davis stays healthy because the team’s fate this season will depend on it. The Brow has been brilliant at both ends of the court. AD is obviously the spearhead of the Lakers’ defense. Furthermore, he has been scoring with a good average since last month.

Looks like Hall of Famer Isiah Thomas is in all praise for Anthony Davis. Thomas mentioned, “I don’t think any other NBA player currently can do what AD is doing this season.” Isiah Thomas feels that when it comes to the combination of offense and defense, he is unstoppable. Nobody on the team gets the job done so well, like the way AD scores, get the rebounds, and blocks. There is no shortage of skills, but the only concern is his fitness.

Anthony Davis has not managed to play more than 75 games in a season in his entire career. On the other hand, he has also got some of the longest streaks of missing out on games than most of the other players. This season AD missed twenty games since hurting his right foot last December. The Lakers can no longer afford AD to miss out on any more games, as the playoff games are getting more exciting. It will depend on AD about how far the LA side can go this season.
