Speaking after the game, Stanton discussed the Bombers’ current lineup and ranked it pretty highly.

Stanton Hits Pitcher Cory Abbott In His Spring Debut
Giancarlo Stanton is known for his extremely good athleticism and physique. His hits are so powerful that the ball travels at lightning speed. However, the fielder and pitchers on the opposite end certainly do not enjoy the scenes. For instance, during the DH’s debut spring training game against the Washington Nationals, the ball traveled at a speed of 112.4 mph from Stanton’s bat and ended up hitting the pitcher Cory Abbott.
Furthermore, the hit looked nasty, but Cory but he got up quickly and resumed the rest of the game. While speaking on the same, Giancarlo Stanton said he always ends up hitting a pitcher in spring training unintentionally.
