India Vs England 4th Test: In a thrilling contest, India beats England by 157 runs in the 4th test match to take the lead of 2-1 in the series.

On Monday, Team India all out England on 210 runs to secure a victory on the Ovals. It was India\’s second victory on that ground. This iconic victory also ended the hiatus of 41 years as the last win was registered back in 1971. This match was historical from all points of view as it was the second time only that India won an overseas test match after scoring less than 200 runs in the first innings. 

   

Rohit Sharma, Shardul Thakur, and Umesh Yadav were the MVPs of this match. Rohit Sharma finally made a century in England in the second innings of the match as he scored a total of 127 runs. On the other hand, Shardul Thakur was impressive with both the bat and bowl. This 29-year-old made half-centuries in both innings of the fourth test match. 

After the 4th test match, the congratulatory messages for the Indian team take over the Internet. Australian legend Shane Warned even called them the best team in the world. All the Indian legends, including VVS Laxman, Virendra Sehwag, congratulated team India. According to Laxman, this win is very special for team India. 

Rohit Sharma was awarded the player of the match for his brilliant contribution of 127 runs in the second innings. The real standout of this test match was Shardul Thakur, as he scored the fastest half-century in England in the first innings. He was the one who helped the team reaching a respectable total.

After this win, India has a lead of 2-1 against England in their five matches test series. Now, even the fifth and the last match becomes a draw, India will grab the series. On the other hand, England can\’t win the series now, but he can draw it by winning the last final. The fifth test match will take place in Manchester from September 10 to 14.
