The New York Yankees have been in turmoil ever since Aaron Judge left the lineup due to an unfortunate injury. For those living under the rock, Judge suffered from a gruesome toe injury on June 3 after crashing into a fence at the Dodgers stadium. On top of that, the team’s medical and condition staff are not able to figure out the next course of action due to the complexity of the injury.

Meanwhile, the Yankees have been unable to cope with the idea of not having its captain, Aaron Judge, in the lineup. Since he left the playfield, the team’s offense has fallen apart completely. The horrific slump has led to consecutive humiliating losses, which has given the fans an impression that the Bombers might not make it to the postseason this year. However, the GM, Brian Cashman, has come out to defend his team and also brushed off all the concerns.

Since Aaron Judge’s unfortunate injury, the New York Yankees have witnessed a horrific offensive slump. The team’s offensive lackluster has led to multiple crucial losses, which is hampering the team’s standings in the highly competitive East table. Hence, the fans raged and accused the veteran and notable offensive lineup of being incompetent. In the midst of intense criticism, the Bombers’ general manager has once again jumped to do some damage control. While addressing reporters on the sidelines at the Yankee stadium, Brian Cashman said that he is happy with the team’s overall commitment.

The GM explained, saying that he knew what the boys were doing back at the clubhouse. He is happy with the work the team is putting together and strongly believes and desired results will follow eventually. Further, Cashman addressed the fan’s frustration and claimed that even the team as a whole unit is frustrated. But the boys need to have a lot of faith and belief in themselves. As long as the faith stays intact, the team is capable of turning things around. In a nutshell, the general manager still has a lot of belief in the team he has built his season. He is not willing to make any changes and will place his bet on the current roster to uplift the club to the postseason.

Will Cashman Opt For Trade To Replace Aaron Judge?

To be honest, Aaron Judge’s absence is the sole reason for the Yankees’ offensive collapse this season. Moreover, as the captain is set to miss a few more weeks due to a toe injury, fans want the team to look out for options. However, the Yankees GM, Brian Cashman, is not on board with this idea at all. He said that the team would not indulge in trade and would wait for Judge to return eventually.

Further, Cashman said that the current Yankees roster consists of players capable enough to replace Aaron Judge. It’s just that a few players have been unable to find their rhythm. However, with the right approach and positive mindset, they all will come around. Hence, the general manager will not budge with his current approach and is likely to stick with the same roster for as long as possible, possibly till the end of the season.
