Fans Hound Skip Bayless For Criticising LeBron James Despite The Laker Achieving The Biggest Feat Ever

Skip Bayless is arguably the worst critic of the legend from Akron, Ohio, LeBron James. King James has seldom managed to impress Skip Bayless in the twenty years of such an illustrious career. Ever since the beginning of the GOAT debate Skip Bayless has vehemently voted against LeBron James and brought the comparison between the two greats. It is a style of Mr. Bayless to bring in the list of comparisons between Michael Jordan and King James no matter what. Even before the news and the fact have properly sink-in the hearts of the fans, Bayless is ready with his offense against the new all-time leading scorer.

LeBron James has just achieved something that none could in the last 38 years. King James scoring 38 points against Oklahoma City Thunder made him surpass The Cap in the all-time scoring sheet. After the game against the Thunder, King James has a total of mammoth 38,390 points. Albeit the Los Angeles Lakers lost the match 130-133 to the Thunder. They now remain seated at the 13th seed in the Western Conference table with a win-loss ratio of 25-30.

How Big Is The All-Time Top Scorer Record Deal?

But this record-breaking moment is a bigger deal for the legacy of the NBA. The popular belief was that the Cap’s record is unbreakable. But here we go almost four decades later. The time has come. As the saying goes, “records are meant to be broken.”

Moreover, if a deep analysis is done, then there will be few similarities found between The King and The Cap. The significant similarity between these two great scorers is longevity and consistency. Both these greats have stood the test of time and have played at a very high level even after 35. Kareem Abdul-Jabbar retired at 42 in 1989 after scoring almost 7000 more than the previous record of Wilt Chamberlain.

Different Opinions On The GOAT Debate

The Tower from Power broke Chamberlain’s record back in 1984. LeBron James turned 38 on December 30, 2022. On February 8, 2023, King James changed the name to the first position on the list of all-time leading scorers since 1984. Despite what Skip Bayless said, the fans of the Lakers and the King will never change their opinion. After this epic moment when Shaquille O’Neal asked King James about his thoughts on the GOAT debate, an emotional LeBron James replied, “People may have a different opinion, but for me, I’m the greatest.”

Skip Bayless tweeted, “MJ is the Runaway GOAT.” The most common comments are similar in the lines, “Man, at least let the man have a moment to register in his mind and heart what he has achieved. I’m angry at myself for giving you time by commenting on your post.” Skip Bayless mentioned, “LeBron James has done a miracle to reach where he is today. As he is not a very good jump shooter and a shooter with a free throw yet, here he is. James definitely has played the greatest brand of bully ball.”
