But, just after the safety car protocol, when FIA made an error in the decision, Max Verstappen took advantage and overpassed Lewis Hamilton in the very last lap just before finishing the line. It was unacceptable. Toto Wolff literally just smashed the headphones, fans were outraged on FIA, and everyone was like, what just happened? Max Verstappen was indeed worth winning the championship, but the way he won was inappropriate.
Now that Hamilton had to accept that Max Verstappen took his eighth title, will he march his way to revenge for that? The UK Express Sport did a poll to know the opinions of Lewis Hamilton’s fans; they found that 42.9 percent of the readers want the Briton to remain a seven-time world champion. But 39.4 percent of the readers are waiting for Hamilton to give a shot for the eighth world title. And 12.5 percent of the readers believe Lewis Hamilton deserves to win nine world titles. Now the rest 5.2 percent just went too far. They think that Hamilton will win ten titles before retiring from Formula One.
