But he also mentioned that it is not something that can keep Davis on the sidelines even at such a crucial time. “He’s definitely hurting, but it’s not something that’s going to keep him out,” confirmed Ham. Even Davis talked about his injury, saying that it is not something he picked up but rather one that aggravated on Monday. “I just wanted to play,” acknowledged Davis without any hesitation.
There is no doubt that Davis, a two-way player for the Lakers, works up and down the court with ease. However, he does it smoothly when he is at his full capacity. As of now, AD has not been at his best, and that is costing him his offensive game. But the Lakers have nothing to complain about, as he is compensating well at the defensive end of the court. He grabbed 11 rebounds, which shows how important is his mere presence on the court.

Undoubtedly, the Lakers’ games are only going to get more intense with only one day’s rest between the games. Meanwhile, LeBron always takes care of himself optimally during the playoffs. Davis could be seen struggling. His hip injury could cause him some major problems. But according to AD, he will be fine because he is receiving “round-the-clock treatment.” If the Lakers do not flinch in their next game, they wrap the series on Wednesday with 4-1.
