Similarly, Yankees pitcher Domingo German made a crucial start on Sunday. The pitcher was coming after a ban that tainted his image to an extent. Nonetheless, German brushed off his past and recorded a stellar outing on the mound. In 6.2 innings pitched, German gave away one run in four hits while striking out six batters in the process.
The pitcher also suffered an injury scare when he rolled over his ankle. The medical team rushed for treatment, and German was able to resume his outing shortly after. Since returning from the ban, the pitcher has witnessed a resurgence as his overall ERA has fallen up to 2.31 in the past six starts.
