Aaron Judge turned up for a press meet after having a successful day at spring training. The slugger was asked to weigh in on his chances of having another prominent year with the bat. Aaron responded by saying he did not want to put a specific number on it but did not rule out chances of scoring 62 home runs for the second time in a row. Aaron subtly answered, “We’ll see.” The feat of achieving as many as 62 homers is not something one can replicate for two consecutive seasons. However, Judge is being extremely optimistic, and the fans are excited.

Boone said Judge’s primary focus should be maintaining his health throughout the season. According to Boone, if Aaron Judge manages to stay healthy, greatness will follow his lead, and no power in the world can stop him from having an MVP-level season. Ultimately, whether or not Judge hits 62 home runs again in 2023 will depend on various factors, including his health, the performance of his teammates, and his ability to make adjustments at the plate.

Meanwhile latest 2023 FanGraphs projections script a different story. According to forecasts, Judge is unlikely to hit 62 homers this season. Nevertheless, Judge might have another stellar season as a complete batter and a leader. While it’s impossible to predict the future, one thing is clear: if anyone is capable of hitting 62 home runs in a single season for the second consecutive year, it’s Aaron Judge. Further, the spring training is underway, and the 2023 MLB season opening day will commence towards the end of March.
