Lately, Benintendi improved his strikeout rate over his 1.5 years with the Royals. He previously had a 19% strikeout percentage when playing for Boston, whiffing 400 times in 485 games. In 227 games for Kansas City, he only struck out 149 times, a 16% percentage. But after joining the Yankees, he was struck out 25 times in just 33 games. 

Andrew Benintendi only hit five home runs with 51 RBIs across 126 games played between the Kansas City Royals and New York Yankees, batting.304. Benintendi was chosen for the MLB All-Star Team for the first time in his seven-year MLB career, even though his power stats were among the lowest in his career. Benintendi played more than 400 games for the Boston Red Sox from 2016 to 2020, helping them win the World Series in 2018.

Andrew Benintendi won\’t be a cheap signing, regardless of which team chooses to make a move. MLBTR.com forecasts that the 28-year-old outfielder may sign a deal worth up to $54 million over four years. While Benintendi might never become the superstar, he appeared to be when he was playing for the Boston Red Sox in his early years. He should still be a good player for his new team. Benintendi will offer seasoned leadership to any club he joins and be an All-Star, Gold Glove winner, and World Series champion.
