However, according to the latest rumors, the Mets have made up their mind to welcome Carlos back into the front office. Moreover, the former outfielder has informed Yes Network about his departure. But the Mets are yet to comment on the speculations.
Carlos’ last stint with the Mets ended on a tragic note. The Mets fired Beltran even before he could manage the team for a single game. In 2019, an MLB investigation revealed Carlos orchestrated a sign-cheating scandal during the finals of the 2017 season while representing the Astros.
