Who Is This LeBron James\’ Doppelganger Seen Playing At Fifa World Cup?

It has been quite some days since we last saw Lakers forward LeBron James in action on the wooded court. LBJ has been missing from the Lakers\’ lineup for the last five games. The reason behind this is an injury in the left abductor. However, Twitter has a hilarious theory about James\’ absence from the past few NBA games. The Twitter handle claimed that James has been playing in the FIFA World Cup. And the picture of the person he shared does share some uncanny similarities with King James.

LeBron James Doppelganger Spotted!

It is not new for people to spot lookalikes of their celebrities. However, a Twitter handle named LakeShowYo has found LeBron James\’s doppelganger playing for Cameroon in the ongoing Fifa World Cup. The Twitter handle also shared a picture of French-born Footballer Bryan Mbeumo, who is playing for Cameroon in the ongoing World Cup.

On Thursday in World Cup action, Cameroon played Switzerland in their first game in Group G. During the game, a Cameroonian athlete who appeared to resemble LeBron James of the Los Angeles Lakers gained popularity. The resemblances are a little unsettling when viewed via those photographs. The hairline and even the beard resemble James\’ nearly exactly.

The social media post soon got viral on the internet, with countless people resharing it with hilarious captions. However, the similarities between LeBron James and Bryan Mbeumo were so uncanny that it prompted a response from \’the King\’ himself. LeBron James shared a post saying that is why LeBron James has been missing games on his Instagram story. In response, James hilariously wrote that he has to do work in other places too.

The LeBron impersonator, who also represents Brentford FC in the Premier League, has not yet made any public remarks. On Thursday, the alleged twin of James, Bryan Mbeumo, played for Cameroon for 81 minutes before being replaced. In the end, Switzerland triumphed 1-0. That may be the greatest impression one can have of James and the Lakers, who are currently doing a lot of losing. On Monday, Cameroon will play Serbia.

James has missed six of the previous seven games due to a groin issue that he has been dealing with. Even with 37 and 21 points from fellow superstars Anthony Davis and Russell Westbrook, the Lakers have struggled without him, dropping their most recent game 115-105 to the Phoenix Suns. James has played in 10 games this season for the Lakers, averaging 24.9 points, 8.8 rebounds, and 6.9 assists in 35.7 minutes. He is expected to make a successful recovery from his frustrating injury in time for the team\’s upcoming game. On Friday night at the A&T Center, the Lakers will play host to the Spurs.
