The 2022 Kobe Bryant MVP of the NBA, Golden State Warriors’ Stephen Curry, may be sitting on the bench due to a shoulder injury, but that is not stopping him from helping his team win in any anyway he can. Curry suffered a labral injury to his left shoulder during the game against Indiana Pacers on December 14, 2022. He has been unavailable since then; however, the baby-faced assassin seems to help his team from the bench, imparting wisdom.

The Warriors deserve credit as they did not give up hope since their star was unavailable. They are increasing their chances of defending the title with their winning streak.

Everybody is praising Stephen Curry for his passion and dedication for the Warriors’ as he attends every game, supporting and motivating his teammates even from the sidelines. It looks like Curry won’t be able to get on the pitch for a little while longer. But his leadership qualities have caught the eyes of the fans.

A video has gone viral showing Curry giving some tips to Anthony Lamb to help him improve his game. Fans have reacted to that video with comments full of praise. The video’s caption says, “Steph never stops helping out his teammates.” Fans responded with comments like “Future Coach Stephen Curry” and “best teammate ever”, etc.

Curry’s Absence Is “Blessing In Disguise” For Warriors’

It is unknown when the MVP Steph Curry will make a comeback, but the team is doing well even with his absence. Warriors’ Klay Thompson is in terrific form, with his average going up every game. He averages 34.5 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 3.3 assists in his last four games. Meanwhile, his shooting is 46.3%, including 41.7% from the 3-point arc.

WNBA All-Star Chiney Ogwumike praised Klay and called Curry’s absence “a blessing in disguise”. He added, “if you think about Klay, he’s getting more reps, finding his rhythm quicker.” So, in a nutshell, the Warriors are on a winning streak, especially at home. They are 17-2 and will try to maintain it when they face Detroit Pistons (10-30) on Wednesday.

The Golden State Warriors defeated Atlanta Hawks in their home game, 143-141, on Monday, January 2, 2023. Klay Thompson led from the front, scoring 54 points, seven rebounds, and three assists. Jordan Poole, the point guard, supported Klay by adding 28 points, six rebounds, and five assists. Kevon Looney also contributed to the score sheet scoring 14 points, 20 rebounds, and four assists.

Looking at the Atlanta Hawks, they came close, with the point guard Trae Young scoring 30 points, seven rebounds, and fourteen assists. Other contributions for the Hawks came from Dejounte Murray and John Collins, scoring 25 points each, and Bogdan Bogdanovic came up with 21 points, three rebounds, and three assists. Finally, the Warriors (20-18) overcame the Hawks’ challenge winning their season-best five games on the trot.

Warriors coach Steve Kerr finally has good news for the fans after more than fourteen days since Curry got injured. In a podcast interview with Damon and Ratto, Steve Kerr hinted at the progress of Curry’s fitness, saying, “He’s been doing a lot of stuff on the court. So he’s getting a lot of good work in. He’s really coming along well, and everything is progressing.”
