Warriors’ Injury Update: Steph Curry’s Potential Return Date Out! James Wiseman Suffering From Ankle Injury

Warriors

The Golden State Warriors are missing their major superstar Stephen Curry due to his shoulder injury. From missing the ability to find their footing in the season, the Warriors are well-placed to tackle the second half of the season. On the last road trip, the Warriors were 1-5, but as they returned, they won five consecutive games. In the previous ten games, the Warriors have managed four wins to make a comeback. It looks like the Warriors will aim for the top four seed in the Western Conference.

Only half game separates the Warrior from jumping to the fifth position in the Western Conference. The close and competitive nature could push any bottom team to the top if they consistently produce wins. Last season, Boston Celtics did something similar to the rise in the second half of the season. At first, they were 20-21, and before finishing the season, they were 30-11 to play in the finals. Surprisingly the Warriors pulled one over them to name the title for themselves. However, the Warriors would be hoping for Stephen Curry to return to help them through.

Reveal On Steph Curry’s return

The Warriors have displayed a crazy form recently, even without Stephen Curry. However, the general manager Bob Myers revealed details about Stephen Curry’s return to the rotation. He said their superstar point guard could return for the game against the San Antonio Spurs. Myers further added that he is doing contact drills but is back in court work. As of now, Curry looks similar to how he was before the injury, and there are no recorded setbacks due to injury. The 34-year-old’s return is good news as they are already making much-needed progress.

Meanwhile, all the Warrior’s recent success has come in the home games. The team has been terrible on the road, making them best at home and worst in away games. And to change that, Stephen Curry will likely return on January 13, the first day of the five-game away trip. In the meantime, Jordan Poole and Klay Thompson have been incredible in the absence of the four-time NBA champ.

Another Player, James Wiseman, Injury Report With Other Warriors

The loss against the Detroit Pistons has delayed their entry to the top six positions in the Western Conference. However, their run of five consecutive wins has brought them very close to the playoff spot. And the interesting fact about the run is they have done it without their major superstars. Players like Stephen Curry and Andrew Wiggins were missing due to injuries. Even James Wiseman, who has sprained his ankle, missed the last two games.

The Warriors’ official reports suggest that James Wiseman will be evaluated for one week until his return. Meanwhile, it appears that he will be back on the court sooner as his injury is not much serious. Meanwhile, the return of Stephen Curry remains the best news for Warriors fan.
