Draymond Green is back in the rotation of the Golden State Warriors. He was out for 16 games due to his second suspension of this regular season. Previously, the veteran forward had received a five-game suspension. Later, when he returned after his first suspension, he really made matters worse. Moreover, the Dubs did lose a game against the Oklahoma City Thunder in overtime because Green committed a foul right at the fag end of the regulation time. Otherwise, the Dubs could have won that game by three points on December 9, 2023. Green’s mistake let the Thunder get three free throws to level the points. Moreover, his long absence from the rotation this winter has made the Warriors suffer real bad defensively.

They could have won certain games against the Denver Nuggets and others if they were a bit stronger defensively. On top of that, the team members have really missed Green. Klay Thompson says, they are not the same Warriors without Green. Moreover, Steph Curry said that a lack of communication can create a lack of trust. That’s something where Green really shines. Dray Green’s communication does the team atmosphere real good. Lately, he returned in the game against the Memphis Grizzlies. Green didn’t have a memorable return against the Grizzlies.

Draymond Green would have loved to see his team win on his return. But things have not been going the Warrior’s way lately. They are losing games, which they should not. To their dismay, the Memphis Grizzlies didn’t have Ja Morant, Desmond Bane as well as Marcus Smart because of injuries. Why could not the Dubs beat the Grizzlies who were not playing with their main lineup? Anyhow, Draymond Green said he loves it when the crowd boos at him. Recently, on the Draymond Green Show, the veteran shared his experience of the return against the Grizzlies and the home fans.

He likes the fact that the Memphis fans love to hate him. It inspired him to make an even stronger comeback. Draymond Green also said that he loves to boo the crowd back. In the end, Green mentioned honestly that he loves them and thinks the Memphis fans are hilarious. Clearly, the four-time champion trolled the Grizzlies fans really nicely. However, the Memphis fans had the last laugh as the young GG Jackson II led the home to victory against the seven-time champions.

The young Grizzlies sensation took the league by storm when he alone defeated the modern-day dynasty. Moreover, the Dubs had the veteran forward Draymond Green returning to the lineup. But the Grizzlies didn’t have their main lineup due to injury issues. Despite all these factors, the home team was able to enforce another defeat on the Warriors. GG Jackson II scored 23 points. The youngest player in the league went viral after an interview with Shaquille O’Neal.

On the other hand, the 2022 NBA draft’s 47th overall pick Vince Williams Jr. also had a great game scoring 24 points. Both Jackson and Williams had their career-best games against the Warriors. It is really concerning for the Dubs because they are at present the 12th seed in the West with an 18-22 record.
