According to him, there is always a debate between the two legends, but no, nobody is on the other end with Curry. “Steph is the greatest. So that confidence runs different,” said Green. He has been able to carry his whole team to the five championship finals, winning four of them. This is not the sign of an average player who makes it happen sometimes in his life. He is a regular, and it can be seen in his performance in the playoffs against the Sacramento Kings.
Curry’s Numbers Say It All
While LeBron James has suffered to carry his team in the playoffs, Curry has been astonishing. The Warriors’ point guard is much younger than him, but the two are equal in the number of championships they have won. Statistically, he averaged 29.4 points, 6.1 rebounds, and 6.3 assists in his regular season.
It was surprising to see Draymond Green putting Steph above LeBron, as he is one of the King fanboys. But watching Curry in the playoffs must have changed his mind. The 35-year-old is averaging 31.4 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 4.6 assists in the five games of the playoffs. Moreover, he is shooting 49.3% from the field and 42.7% from beyond the arc.
