Michael Jordan, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, and LeBron James are the few names who find their way into almost every conversation about who is the greatest of all time (GOAT) in the NBA. However, one NBA icon who is criminally underrated and is often overlooked is Golden State Warriors star, Steph Curry. Hailed by many as the greatest forward shooter the NBA has ever produced in history, Curry recently erected another monument to his name.

Ever since the beginning of the season, the GSW point guard has been having one of his most dominant seasons. The season has not been a walk in the park for the last year\’s defending champions. But despite their various struggles, the Warriors are standing at .500, and the main reason behind this has been Steph Curry. 

   

In all the games played in the month of November, Stephen Curry has a stunning average of 31.6 points per game, along with 6.7 rebounds and 7.8 assists per game. These fantastic numbers are the best for any player in the NBA. Steph is only the second player ever to maintain such an average for longer than a month. However, what makes it special is that the first ever player to do so, Curry himself, in February 2016.

At the age of 34, Stephen Curry is playing arguably the best basketball of his iconic career. Curry is among the top point scorers of all time, with 20,692 in just 833 over a 14-season-long career so far. At the same time, Curry leads the tally of most three-pointers in the NBA by a player with 3220. The next on the list is Ray Allen, who is more than 250 three-pointers behind, Steph. Curry is perhaps playing the greatest basketball of his illustrious career, and he is not just still dominant. Despite their early-season struggles, the Warriors have been a constant threat, thanks to players like Curry.

It is incredible seeing how effective and dominant Stephen Curry is turning out to be for the Golden State Warriors, even at the of 34. However, The Warriors will have to start playing better basketball soon to defend their title. Meanwhile, no matter how well Curry is playing at the moment, he can\’t win a title alone. He will certainly need other players on his team to rise up to the occasion.
