WWE has officially announced Roman Reigns VS Brock Lesnar is all set to take place at the upcoming Crown Jewel PPV event. This announcement came through the official website of WWE on Thursday. However, it is still unclear whether the Universal Championship will be on the line for this match or not.

Roman Reigns is certainly one of the most dominated champions in the history of WWE. He has been holding the Universal Championship for the last 380+ days, and during his reign, he successfully defended the title against the opponents like Daniel Bryan, Edge, John Cena, Finn Balor, and many more. However, now he has his biggest threat in front of him in the form of the Beast Incarnate, Brock Lesnar.

Brock Lesnar made his much-awaited return to WWE at SummerSlam this year. At the main event of the PPV, the Tribal Chief made John Cena acknowledge him by defeating him in the title match. However, after this match, the theme music of the Beast Incarnate hits and gets one of the loudest pops of the night. The Alpha Man made his way to the ring and confronted the Head of the Table.

Recently at the September 10 episode of Super SmackDown, Brock Lesnar appeared and made it clear that he wants his Universal title back. He challenged Roman Reigns for a match. At the same time, he also created a dispute between Roman Reigns and his manager Paul Heyman. The latter used to work for Brock Lesnar, but now he aligned himself with the Tribal Chief. Heyman tried to convince Lesnar not to go after the Universal Championship. But all his efforts have been wasted as WWE confirmed Roman Reigns VS Brock Lesnar would take place at WWE Crown Jewel.

Roman Reigns VS Brock Lesnar: Will The Championship Be On The Line?

The fans will get the answer to this question at the Extreme Rules PPV event that will take place on Sunday, September 26. Before fighting Brock Lesnar at Crown Jewel, Roman Reigns will defend his Universal Championship against \”The Demon\” Finn Balor. If Reigns comes out victorious against the demon, then he will defend the championship against Brock Lesnar. However, if Finn Balor managed to defeat Roman Reigns, then the match at Crown Jewel will be a single match.

The WWE Crown Jewel PPV event is all set to take place on October 21, 2021, in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
