Max Verstappen proved last year that nothing brings him more joy than winning. He is a keen virtual sim racer and is very ambitious in sim racing as well. But nobody can deny, not even Max, that what makes him special is his ability to dominate the pinnacle of Motorsport. Clearly, Red Bull had the most dominant car in the last two years. With RB18, Red Bull won 17 races, and with RB19, they did even better. The Austrian outfit won as many as 21 races out of 22.

But the one race they did not win was in the Marina Bay Circuit of Singapore. Ferrari used the opportunity to win at least one race last year, thanks to Carlos Sainz Jr. It was because of the Spaniard that there was a name on top of the podium that didn’t belong to Red Bull. However, Mercedes struggled to beat McLaren and Ferrari in the Singaporean GP as well. But the loss in Singapore is really bugging Red Bull.

Recently, in an interview with PlanetF1, Max Verstappen mentioned the Singaporean Grand Prix proved that RB19 was not quick enough on low-speed tracks. Hence, the Milton Keynes team should work on it ahead of the 2024 season. Max Verstappen believes it is essential to figure out all the weak points of the car, albeit it is hard to tell. Anyway, the team is working on the car constantly to make it better, revealed Max. Moreover, Max Verstappen feels the team knows where the weaknesses lie. For instance, the street circuits in general have not been Red Bull’s strong suit last year. That’s what the team is working on.

Max Verstappen pointed out the Las Vegas Grand Prix as where the team struggled with the car. Moreover, Max mentioned that low speed, bumps, and kerbs are not their car’s strongest points. Hence, there are a few areas where the Austrian outfit would like to improve for sure. But it seems like the team is happy with where they are at present with the 2024 challenger. Perhaps that’s the reason why they are shifting their focus to the RB21 car already. Moreover, Max Verstappen pointed out McLaren as a potential threat next year.

The Dutchman Doesn’t Care Much About Records

There have been many great F1 drivers over the years. But only a few have seen such domination in their times. Nevertheless, no driver before in F1 has won over 15 Grand Prix in one season. Last year, Max Verstappen won 19 races. On the other hand, in the year before, the Dutch driver won as many as 15 races.

That year, he broke the records of the great German drivers, Michael Schumacher and Sebastian Vettel, who won 13 races in a season. Anyway, these records don’t mean a big deal to the Dutch sensation. He just wants to win and continue as long as he can enjoy the most dominant car ever.
