Los Angeles Lakers have always had the star power like no other team. New York Knicks have good star power as well, and so do the Golden State Warriors. But nobody comes close to the Lakers in terms of A-List supporters. The LA team is often regarded as the Hollywood team of the NBA for obvious reasons. The Lakers are used to having superstars in the team and outside supporting the team from the stands.

Over the years, the franchise had great players like Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Magic Johnson, Shaquille O’Neal, Kobe Bryant, and in modern times LeBron James. There have occasionally been famous celebrities in the stands watching the Lakers play with a lot of excitement. However, there is one celebrity who is regarded as the biggest fan of the LA squad. He is none other than the three-time Academy Award-winning actor Jack Nicholson. He has been coming to watch the Lakers play almost all his life. Last night, the squad beat the Golden States 104-101 after a very close finish in Game 4 last night. And with this win, Jack Nicholson has become a lucky charm for the Lakers. Moreover, many more celebrities graced the arena last night.

However, it had been almost a couple of years since the great actor came to the Crypto.com arena. Jack Nicholson, 86, graced the arena for the first time in two years in the round 1 game between the Lakers and the Grizzlies. That day, the team did not disappoint ‘The Shining’ star. Hence, Jack was more eager than ever to visit the arena again. In the crucial Game 4 against the Warriors at the same venue, Jack Nicholson sat in the same place where he always sits during the game. Furthermore, two years ago, the Lakers lost to the Warriors while Jack was in the arena. Since then, it took him two years to grace the arena again. Hence, it was vital to save the reputation of beating the Warriors in the presence of Jack Nicholson. The Lakers did not disappoint yet again.

Moreover, Star-Lord from The ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ franchise and also The ‘Jurassic World’ star Chris Pratt was there to support the Lakers. Even LeBron James came and said, “Hey” to Pratt. Kim Kardashian was also there in the arena for a consecutive second time. Meanwhile, the basketball legend and former leading scorer, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, was there to support his former franchise as well. It has been a few months since KAJ was there in a Lakers game to pass the torch to James after he broke his record. Apparently, the Lakers fan base is giving stiff competition to others in terms of A-Listers. The Warriors has got some but mostly includes billionaire tech people to support the San Francisco franchise at home.

Now, the Warriors will meet the Lakers at the Chase Center for Game 5. The defending champions will look to save the series as they are 1-3 behind. Furthermore, the LA side needs to win one more game to seal the series.

Albeit, this is not the first time in the playoff series this postseason that the Warriors fell behind by two games. They did against the Kings but came back strong to reach the second round of the playoffs. Hence, it is still on between the two big teams.
