In the meantime, as the film gears up for the worldwide release, the casting director of the movie, Angela Boehm, shared inside details of the project with Natasha Dye of People Magazine. She said the team wanted to stay true to LeBron James’ original story and has tried not to alter the reality much. Further, they have ensured that the environment that James grew up in 20 years ago stayed the same, and hence, they filmed the movie in Akron, Cleveland itself, where it all began for the veteran.

On the other hand, the shooting of this film reportedly generated $25.5 million in revenue for the people of Akron. The project first announced back in 2018, delayed its filming due to the global pandemic. Now that everything is back to normalcy, the project produced by Maverick Carter, Terence Winter, and Rachel Winter will hit the screens in a couple of months.
