Max Verstappen Would TAKE OVER Lewis Hamilton\’s Record In The Next Five Years, Claims Father Jos Verstappen

The lingering wait for Max Verstappen finally came to an end in the Japanese Grand Prix on Sunday. There was certainly no prouder man than Max Verstappen\’s father, Jos, on Sunday. His son defended his Formula One Championship during the Japanese Grand Prix. The 25-year-old Dutch driver won the 2022 F1 driver\’s championship after utterly dominating the entire season. But in a fashion similar to last year, the victory came in a controversial manner and left fans divided about the ruling.

Meanwhile, Max\’s father has made a spirited prediction about his son\’s future in Formula One. Jos forecasts that the Dutchman will have a good five years and a dominant period in Formula 1. The strongest driver, according to Jos, always rises to the top. He also made a suggestion that his son Max may beat Lewis Hamilton and other Mercedes and Ferrari competitors in terms of championships.

More crucially, Jos emphasized that most F1 regulations will remain the same for the foreseeable future, which he believes would benefit Max. If that happened, it would be terrible news for seven-time world champion Hamilton. He has been unable to compete for the title this year because of a lack of speed. Furthermore, Jos mentioned that better races would be available in the future, which will probably suit his son during his talk with Viaplay.

Now, Max Verstappen will be looking to continue a streak of domination in the sport. Between 2014 and 2020, Hamilton won every championship except one. Whereas Sebastian Vettel won four straight titles between 2010 and 2013. Furthermore, between 2000 and 2004, Schumacher won five consecutive Driver\’s Champions.

After Charles Leclerc was given a five-second penalty, Verstappen controversially gained his second championship on Sunday.
