The Formula One race simulator is the dream of every F1 fan. All the drivers have an installed sim in their homes. But taking one step further, Max Verstappen is installing one in his 12 million euros private jet too. Recently, Red Bull’s advisor Helmut Marko revealed the news of Max taking the unusual installation of the F1 sim in a jet. It is actually not a bad idea.
With such a busy schedule, drivers are now forced to spend more time on travel. Especially while taking the long haul flight to a distant country with their private jet, they must be getting bored. Being a racer, what would keep one’s interest the same as driving? Nothing! And probably that is the reason why Max decided to drive virtually while moving too far places.
When there is no network in the airplanes, the same normal human being, the drivers too used to read. Watch movies, or shares quality time with their partners. But as there is always something different and unique about Max Verstappen. He does not want to do the same thing as others while the long-hour travels. Instead of reading a book, watching a movie, or spending time with his girlfriend Kelly Piquet, Max Verstappen would like to RACE! The one thing he is in love with and is a master of doing.
Max Verstappen Installing The Sim On Jet, Is Good As Believd By Helmut Marko
One of the reasons that must have encouraged Max Verstappen to install the sim in his private jet should be the Le Mans’ virtual race failure. Recently, last week when Max took part in the LeMans race, he was kicked off in the middle of the game due to a server breach. This frustrated the two-time world champion too badly. He was sitting with arms crossed in anger after he tried to restart, and again, the issue was raised.
This ultimately forced him to retire in the middle. Max was so enraged that he suggested Le Mans virtual as a clown show. It is now sure that he will never ever take part in Le Mans. Probably because it has been three times when such system failures have caused difficulties to max Verstappen.
With the above incident, fans thought that Max would not like to play sim games, but just the opposite, he does. Instead of being fully focused on practical driving skills before the start of 2023, Helmut Marko said, “The opposite is the case with Max.” Marko then revealed that Max even had his private plane converted into an F1 simulator. So that he could fly the game in the air in the future.
However, this is not a bad thing, according to Marko. He believes it is a good thing because Max Verstappen kind of needs some distractions. “In any case, it [the sim installation in the private jet] did not do him any harm when it came to his two titles.” So, of course, it will not harm him in getting prepared for the third championship run.
