Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton, are the two names coming first in mind whenever one remembers Formula One battle. But where was Max Verstappen two or three years back? No one knew that much during the time of Mercedes’s dominance. Max was a little Red Bull star fighting for his win. And now he has become the formula One star, winning back-to-back champions, breaking the records of Michael Schumacher and Lewis Hamilton.
As Hamilton is not yet retired, the battles for Max’s next championship and Hamilton’s eighth championship go on. In 2021 Abu Dhabi, what happened was known to all. One inappropriate order in the last lap was made by F1’s director Michael Masi. As a result, Hamilton’s dream of breaking his own record was broken and Toto Wolff’s headphones got smashed. Masi also had to lose his job. But it did well for the Red Bull champion, Max Verstappen. He took advantage of the unlap cars after the safety car restart.
Max Verstappen won his maiden championship in 2021, but he did not get the appreciations he deserved. This is probably because it was meant for Hamilton. Half of F1 fans still believe that Max stole the seven-time world champion’s trophy. But it does not matter now that he has already won his second. And no one can claim anything this time. After getting the last-moment unexpected defeat in 2021, Lewis Hamilton was expected to leave the sport in protest of the unfair judgment, but this would not have given him the eighth title. So he returned back in 2022 to take back the lost title.
Max Verstappen Initiating His Own Grandstand In Spain
But what happened in 2022 is not what Lewis Hamilton ever could have imagined. For the first time in his life, Hamilton did not win a single year. In 2021, let’s say Vertsappen’s title was inappropriate as a rule was wrong and also because of the cost cap breach. But in 2022, he defeated Lewis Hamilton by 15 wins. No debates about this!
So far, it is indeed true that Lewis Hamilton has more wins and records. But Max is young and apparently going on the same track, so it is not far when he will be able to stand beck-to-neck with the seven-time world champion. Now, after so many controversies and struggles and wins and losses, 2023 is coming with hopes and expectations. And as the last year went superbly for Max, he is coming with his own Grandstand in the Spanish Grand Prix at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya. The Grandstand will be placed at turn 13th, which will have an amazing view of both side view. He has already asked everyone in the world to be a part of the Orange army.
After the spectacular year, Max Verstappen has made some real fans, too, who will be dying to be a part of the Grandstand. Through the official Twitter handle, Verstappen.com shared a video in which Max gives a very beautiful speech about his winning moments. Fans can book their tickets from the website.
