10 Dead, 10 Wounded In Deadliest Mass Shooting Of The Year
The mass shooting happened at a dance studio in Los Angeles where thousands of people had gathered to celebrate the two-day lunar year festival. A 72-year-old open fired in the studio and killed as many as ten people, and ten more people received injuries. As soon as the police arrived, the accused locked himself in a van, which the cops later surrounded. As the cops approached the van, the shooter killed himself with the same gun.
However, the cops are yet to determine the motive of the killer, and further details are awaited. Moreover, the second day of the festival is canceled in the wake of the incident. Meanwhile, USA president Joe Biden has asked for all the flags to be lowered to mourn the loss of lives. Mass shooting cases have been on the rise for the past few years. That brings the focus back to the problematic gun laws in the country.
