Red Bull

Max Verstappen is the current double-time champion of Formula One and is still dominating the grid this year. Undoubtedly, the Dutchman has waited for a long time to get where he is today. Verstappen is lucky to be a part of the Milton Keynes team that provides him with the fastest car on the grid. That’s exactly what an ambitious driver like Max always waits for. Verstappen and Red Bull have been enjoying the hegemony since the 2021 driver’s championship.

At present, there is no team or a driver that looks like a challenge or a threat to Max Verstappen. However, the Dutchman has a danger in the form of his teammate, Sergio Perez. Checo won this year’s Saudi Arabia Grand Prix. He could have won the fastest lap as well if not for Max’s ruthlessness took that opportunity away from Checo. Since that race in Jeddah, the Red Bull fans, as well as the F1 Universe, knows that there is a possibility of an exciting showdown between the two Red Bull drivers.

Among the things that are common between Checo and Max is the RB19 car. Sergio Perez also lately mentioned that he wants to win the championship. With the fastest car, the battle is on between the two drivers of the Milton Keynes team. After this discovery of the Red Bull rivalry, there have been a few more rumors spreading faster than ever. There is a communication gap and even a rift between Perez and Max Verstappen. However, Checo’s father, Antonio Perez Garibay, denied all these ‘rift’ claims. According to Perez Senior, “Red Bull is a professional team that costs billion dollars to build a car and have the drivers to win titles. There is no favoritism in Horner’s team.

Antonio added that Red Bull wants its drivers to be number one and two at every race. That should be the goal, but these claims of a rift and such are all “lies,” according to Perez Sr. Checo has kind of reiterated what his father mentioned recently that there is immense mutual respect between him and Max Verstappen. Sergio Perez recently noted, “If I want to win the championship, then I’ll have to be consistent. Winning 15 races is not enough if there are a lot of DNFs in between.” Checo also noted that Max Verstappen is definitely the hardest driver to beat at present.

Even Max had a lot of good things to say for Checo after the 2021 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix was over. Verstappen was impressed with how the other Red Bull driver managed to create a barricade for Lewis Hamilton

driving in front of him, slowing him down. However, Sergio Perez has refused to play the supporting role of Max Verstappen on the track anymore.

Checo is gearing up to win his first championship. And amid all the rift rumours, he mentioned that the atmosphere in the Red Bull camp to be filled with a lot of respect and a sense of what is right and wrong. Perez says until that changes, there is nothing for him to worry about.
