Lewis Hamilton Listed As The Highest Contributor From F1 In Sunday Times’ “Giving to Charity’ list”

Lewis Hamilton is not just a Formula One driver; he is a star that shines beyond the tracks. Just as he says in his bio, ‘Love is Love”. He indeed promotes this fact. Whenever there have been injustices, he spoke. He always stood against the social issues taking place in society. Also, in Formula One, it was only Lewis Hamilton and Sebastian Vettel who used to protest against the injustices like standing up for Black Lives Matter, supporting LGBTQ+ rights, climate change, etc. And, one must not remain unaware of the amounts he donates to charity. Well, this is not a Hamilton fan page article. These moral behaviors of the seven-time world champion have been highlighted recently because of a reason.

Lewis Hamilton Received Several Honours During the Worst Career Year

Meanwhile, Lewis Hamilton also became the only F1 river to come in the top 5000 taxpayers list in the United Kingdom. 2022 may have been the worst year in his Formula One career. But the driver has received several honorable recognizations in the world. During the summer vacation, when Hamilton went to South Africa, he found PEACE there. It was one his best trip ever, as he himself claimed it.

And for what Lewis did in Brazil in 2021, he was awarded the nation’s honorary citizenship before the 2022 Sao Paulo Grand Prix. This is really quite an achievement; Hamilton always liked Brazil. After winning the Brazilian GP in 2021, the driver adopted the gesture of the late legend Ayrton Senna. He marched on the track with the Brazilian flag. When the president saw him, he decided to call him a Brazilian by heart and offered him honorable citizenship.
