LeBron James\’ Shines Against Timberwolves, But Why Is Lakers Team Drowning Him?

Lakers fans were dishearted after the team lost their fourth out of five preseason encounters against Minnesota Timberwolves yesterday. However, there was a silver lining among the dark clouds. The star player of the team, LeBron James, performed in an outstanding manner and showed his class. 

LeBron James Dominate In The Game Against Timberwolves!

The Minnesota Timberwolves have won four of their four preseason games, remaining undefeated as they maintained their excellent play against the Lakers. At the end of the first half, the Timberwolves managed to hold an eight-point advantage and played with poise the whole time.

The LA Lakers have dropped four of their last five NBA Preseason games. The supporters, though, were delighted to see their favorite players regaining the game\’s flow. Together, LeBron James and Anthony Davis scored 44 points and pulled down 24 rebounds. James had a scoring total of 25, 11 rebounds, and three assists. As opposed to this, Davis had 19 points, 13 rebounds, two steals, and two blocks. In addition to LeBron and Davis, Patrick Beverley and Lonnie Walker also put up some respectable efforts. But they were unable to help the Lakers in winning their second game in a row.

There is no doubt that in the history of basketball, LeBron James is among the finest players ever. He\’s starting to hit the twilight of his career. But there\’s no denying that he\’s still a superstar-level performer. With the Lakers, James will undoubtedly have another outstanding season. And it appears that he has been doing well in the preseason. Lakers and his fans all around were delighted to see King James back in form. And they showed their love on social media. On the other hand, some are accusing LeBron James of stats padding. 

Fans hope LeBron James to have a successful year again. While it is apparent that he is no longer the overwhelming presence he once was, that does not mean he is a poor player. King James is still regarded as one of the best five players in the game. Perhaps fans will see him lead the Los Angeles Lakers back to the postseason this year.

King James Will Be Second In Lakers\’ Offense?

In recent years, LeBron James has served as the Los Angeles Lakers public face. However, it seems that Anthony Davis will likely overshadow him in the upcoming season. The Lakers coach Darvin Ham wants Anthony Davis to be the main focus of the Lakers\’ offense. LeBron James is apparently in favor of this strategy as well.

There is no doubt that the Los Angeles Lakers might end up being a strong defensive team this season. That alone might propel them to the playoffs, and we\’ll have to wait and watch how they fare this season.
