LeBron James’ Return Date Out! Lakers’ Star Set To Join His Squad Back After Prolonged Break

Apparently, LeBron James is the biggest hope for the Lakers fans. They want him to return as soon as possible, even though the Lakers are doing better than expected after James had to sit out with a tendon injury. But evidently, there is a clear-cut problem in building a streak. Since James is gone, Anthony Davis has been carrying the team pretty well. D’Angelo Russell also came back from his injury with a bang. Their epic game is coming out even when both Russell and Davis came back after recovering from injuries.

Clearly, the Lakers suffered a lot due to their injury-prone players this season. Even after Davis and Russell returned, the team is unable to hold on to a winning streak which is very important coming to the fag end of the regular season. In the last match against the Rockets, the purple and gold brigade lost a game that they should have won. So, when is LeBron James returning to help his squad lead the tournament? Keep reading to find out.

Against the Rockets last night, LA did not have AD playing because his feet needed rest. According to the team management, it is better if he does not play back-to-back games. But this plan may not be working as it seems without James and Davis, the team is suffering. Not only that, the risk is getting too costly. Clearly, either one of them needs to be there on the court for the Lakers. But if Anthony Davis is unavailable, it may take a while for the Lakers to find the right balance back again.

After his injury, LeBron James had to sit out for two weeks at least. He was supposed to return against the Thunder on March 24. But later, it was said that LeBron James would have to sit out for the whole month. Albeit, a few days ago, LeBron was practicing free throws before an NBA game. The video also went viral and raised hopes for the fans of the Lakers, who badly want the King to come back. But according to The Athletic’s Jovan Buha, the Lakers may not get the services of LeBron James until next month. Buha is constantly updating everybody on the recovery of the King.

In a way, the fans should be happy, as there was also another speculation floating around that the King may not return in the current season at all. Some even said that he would be able to play if the Lakers make the postseason. Initially, after the injury, LeBron James was wearing a walking boot. But he does not have to wear that anymore, so that’s progress. The Lakers are hanging in a delicate situation as they are the 10th seed currently. They can make the top six if everything goes well.

On the other hand, they can lose everything falling to 13th place in Western Conference. Comparatively, the Lakers have an easy remaining schedule compared to most of the other teams. But the Lakers cannot afford to waste these easy games as they did against the Rockets. LeBron James needs to return for at least a few games in the regular season to make sure of a place in the top ten. And if better to the sixth seed for a direct playoff place.
