LeBron James Once Again Accused Of Flopping In Game 2 Vs. Nuggets! Fans Mock Lakers Ace For His Funny Habbit

LeBron James has been the leader of the Los Angeles Lakers squad since he joined the franchise in 2018. Under his leadership, they won the 2019-20 season. It was the 17th championship of the Lakers franchise. Since then, they have suffered a lot and even missed out on making the postseason last year. However, this time, the Purple & the Gold squad has been through a lot of ups and downs. But, in the end, managed to make the postseason. LeBron James has shown a lot of determination to take his team to where they are now, at the Western Conference Finals.

However, now, the Lakers are in deep trouble at present as they are 0-2 down against the top seed, Denver Nuggets. On top of that, in Game 2, LeBron James hurt his ankle and was on the ground for a while. At that moment, fans got more than sure that he might miss the rest of the series. But the all-time NBA scorer got up and finished the game. Moreover, he later said that nothing could stop him from playing in Game 3 tonight. Although, in another incident in the same game, LeBron James fell near the courtside trying to deflect Nikola Jokic’s pass and even knocked over a drink of a fan. However, the fans are now flooding the social media platform accusing the Lakers’ ace of “Flopping.”

After witnessing more than one incident in a single game, fans have started calling out LeBron James’ crash as “Flopping” when he slipped while trying to top Jokic from passing. Coincidentally enough, the Warriors coach Steve Kerr accused LeBron James and the Lakers of practicing the method of flopping just a few games back. But James replied to that accusation aptly, stating, “Never in my career spanning 20 years have I been a part of a team that practices flopping to win games.” However, this time, the Nuggets fans got even more furious as the “flopping” earned Jokic a foul. As a result, fans have been flooding social media, especially on Twitter, where they call LeBron James a “disgrace to basketball.”

There were fans who wrote something like, “Lakers may be a great team, but their flopping game style cannot be ignored.” Another fan commented, “The Lakers might have won the series against the Warriors with flopping, but it does not look so easy with the Nuggets.” However, it won’t matter much to the Lakers’ fans if James had helped his team get a victory and level the series.

Denver Nuggets won the game after turning things around in the fourth quarter. Initially, LeBron James and the Lakers were enjoying a lead of 3 points around the third quarter. But in the final twelve minutes, Jamal Murray took the game away from the Lakers’ reach. Finally, the Nuggets won 108-103 against the Los Angeles Lakers. Now, the Lakers need to utilize the advantage of home court. Furthermore, LeBron and his side are 7-0 at home in the playoffs this season. Hence, the Lakers faithful would be hoping they maintain the streak at home in the playoffs.

James is having a great year as far as individual accomplishments are concerned. He broke the all-time leading scoring record of ‘Captain.’ The Lakers’ ace is fourth on the list of top assists of all time. He broke Shaquille O’Neal’s record of rebounds at playoffs. But for James, the championship ring means the most in his career. He has four with Miami Heat (2), Cleveland Cavaliers (1), and Los Angeles Lakers (1).
