The Denver Nuggets defeated the Los Angeles Lakers 110-99 on Wednesday. The Nuggets clearly outclassed their opponent in their season-opening match. Nikola Jokic, the league\’s current MVP, stood out during this contest with the Lakers. The Serbian center scored 31 points and completely dominated the game. However, after the game, Jokic showered accolades on Lebron James. After the game, Jokic was questioned regarding their plan to stop Los Angeles. Unexpectedly, the MVP praised the All-Star Lakers squad and said that they were determined to stop them before anyone else. In reference to LeBron James, Nikola stated, \”We gave the game our whole attention. We know that LeBron is the finest player on the planet\”.

He went on to praise Anthony Davis as the second-best in the Basketball world and said that the nuggets focused entirely on stopping these two players. And getting praise from the competition is something LeBron James will cherish.
