LeBron James Clarifies His Statement Of Doubting Lakers’ Management For Not Making The Required Trades

The Los Angeles Lakers’ struggle this season is not an unfamiliar site for NBA fans. The Lakers had a difficult beginning to the 2022/23 NBA season, but they seem to have improved recently. And the enhancement has been such that the Lakers have become the most in-form team with consecutive wins. All the credit goes to the 37-year-old LeBron James, who has been in terrific form in recent games. When Anthony Davis suffered his stress injury, LeBron James was highly doubted to lead the team.

However, the Lakers forward have defied all odds to become the team’s supreme leader in the top form. After laying Atlanta Hawks, LA was on to its next challenge, the Sacramento Kings. James contributed 37 points, seven assists, and eight rebounds on Saturday to help the Lakers secure a crucial 136-134 victory. This win marks the team’s fifth consecutive victory. LeBron James Clarifies That He Is Not Frustrated

It is quite clear that the Lakers’ roster demands changes as there are many loopholes to the current squad. And LeBron James indirectly addressed the issue in his interview with Sam Amick of the Athletic. However, the reporter put the story in such a way that it sounds like the 18-time All-star is angry with his franchise. So, James used social media to respond to a report that he was not frustrated with the Lakers’ lack of personnel changes. Angry or not, James indicated something when he said he did not need to talk about it, and everybody knew.

The Lakers’ roster has been under scrutiny since the season has begun. But the front office has not shown any signs that they will be doing anything about it. They have inquired about the players in the market but came up with no absolute solution. And when Sham asked whether LeBron James should persuade the lakers’ front office himself? He said, “Y’all know what the f-k should be happening. I don’t need to talk”. The four-time champ added that his job is to play and leave the roster management to the front office.

The Lakers’ concern about the future is also not a frail argument. But with LeBron James playing at the peak of his powers at 38, everyone wants the front office to sacrifice their future picks. Something similar happened when they signed Anthony Davis and surrendered their eight years’ worth of assets. Although they won the 2020 title, the journey after that has been rough. But Hollywood has been better than ever, even without their marquee center AD. James and Russel Westbrook have done a satisfying job of improving 7-5 without their best player on the court.
